A huge thank you to Tomas Mc Nicholl and his team of referees, timekeepers and umpires who hosted a fantastic event at Moy Tír na nÓg GAC. In total, twenty teams competed and these boys and girls must be commended for their behaviour and attitude.
Girls
Sadly, the Moy girls were eliminated from the event at the semi-final stage by a strong and determined Carrickmore team, the game went to extra time and the golden score rule was applied. In the final, a well drilled Middletown team kept the Carrickmore girls at bay to claim the spoils. Well done!
Boys
Thankfully the boys had an uneventful day and booked their place in the final against Carrickmore.
The St. Colmcille boys are always a challenge and as usual they contested every ball. However, a mature and skilful Moy team extended their lead until the final whistle. Well done, let’s keep this streak going !
