Moy GAA Gaelic Tournament 2025

30th May 2025

Today was a great example of St. John’s Primary School and an Moy Tir na nOg GAC working as a team to host a GAA Blitz for local primary schools. Special thanks must go to Sheena Kelly, Tomas Mc Nicholl and their team of referees, score keepers and hospitality for hosting a fantastic tournament. Well done!

The tournament was represented by boys and girls from: Annaghmore, Blackwatertown, Edendork, Galbally, Kingsisland and Moy. Each team played five games in the group stages so there was plenty of time to hone their skills.

In the girls’ final, Galbally just edged out the St. John’s girls in a hotly contested final. Well done to both teams who put on a fine display of football for the fans.

In the  boys’ final, a very impressive Kingsisland held off the Galbally boys to the final hooter to claim the top spot and the title of “Moy Tournament Winners 2025”.

Comhghairdeas to Galbally and Kingsisland on their accomplishments and to everyone involved.
