Despite a few showers and some brutal storm force gusts, P5 - P7 thoroughly enjoyed their Sports Day at Páirc Tir na nÓg. The boys and girls made the most of every opportunity between the showers, taking part with great enthusiasm, determination and sportsmanship.
From the sack race to the javelin, it was wonderful to see everyone giving their best effort, encouraging one another and enjoying the day together.
Thank you to Moy Tir na nÓg for the use of their facilities and apologies to the robot lawnmower for disturbing your Friday routine!
Lastly, thanks to all the staff involved, who braved the harsh conditions to look after all the pupils and deliver a fantastic Sports Day! Chapeau!
Overall House results and Keystage winners be announced when all the events have taken place and positions finalised.
