The Head of the School of Nursing and Midwifery at Queen’s University Belfast, Professor Donna Fitzsimons invited some children to attend the launch of two children’s books. The books called 'Victor and the Virus' and 'Marcus gets the Surpise of his Life' were written to promote the careers of nursing and midwifery as professions for all.
At the launch, Jack (P4) read an extract from one of the books and the children were provided with the opportunity to try on graduation gowns and play with nursing equipment.
