Donaghmore Gaelic Tournament - Boys
3rd Jun 2026
Well done to the P7 boys who secured top spot in Donaghmore today, played in horrible conditions. In total, there were eight teams present at this twelve aside competition.
In the group stages, the boys secured wins over Kingsisland, Donaghmore and Carrickmore B, securing them a semi-final cup place against Galbally.
The semi-final proved to be a tight affair, with both Moy and Galbally tied at the final whistle. At this point the referee utilised the Golden Score rule, thankfully Joey composed himself enough to land the winning point, from a free kick.
The final against Carrickmore was a hotly contested affair, and indeed Carrickmore were in the lead for most of the game.
Fortunately, Nevan slotted home a goal with 20 seconds to go! Phew!
Well done to the whole team, with each player contributing to the victory in some way.
