Cumann na mBunscol Tyrone Indoor Gaelic
The boys made the short trip to Loughview Sports Centre, Dungannon to compete in their heat of the annual Cumann na mBunscol 5-a-side for primary schools. A total of 6 local schools entered teams for this qualifying heat, which produced a tremendously high level of skill and sportsmanship from all involved.
- Roan St. Patrick's Eglish
- St. Mary's Aughnacloy
- St. Patrick's Dungannon
- St. John's Moy
- St. Mary's Cabragh
- Edendork Primary School
After a very competitive first series of games the very gallant Edendork and Aughnacloy lads bowed out.
The scene was now set for the semi-finals with a strong team from St. John's PS Moy powering past a determined St. Patrick's Dungannon.
The second semi-final was also keenly contested, with the Roan St.Patricks PS boys outlasting St. Mary's Cabragh in a tremendous battle.
The level of expectation and anticipation was high for the final. The game itself lived up to all pre-match expectations. Both teams played some tremendous football and displayed a full-blooded effort.
St. John's Moy eventually overcame the Eglish lads to qualify for the county finals. Good luck in the Tyrone final in a few weeks and thank you for all of your hard work and effort today.
