Congratulations to our hurlers from P6 and P7 who returned home from today’s hurling Blitz with the Sam Rooney Cup. Both teams were up against schools from: Tullysaran, Blackwatertown, Collegeland and Eglish. Strong team performances from both squads set up a cup final between Moy Blue and Moy White. The players know each other inside out and produced an enjoyable final for the spectators. Well done to the blue team who managed to hold on to the lead until the final hooter. Well done! Many thanks to Martina Campbell, Peter Mc Kearney and their team of referees, umpires and score keepers for staging a great tournament. Also, thanks to Dylan for coaching the pupils this year.
