Catholic Schools Week - 18th January - 25th January 2026
This year the theme for Catholic Schools Week was ‘Normal Lives, Called to Holiness.’
It makes us consider that holiness is not for a few, but for all; for every student, teacher, parent, and grandparent living each day in friendship with Jesus Christ. It does not mean performing extraordinary things, but doing ordinary and simple things with love and faith.
At Saint John’s, we remain committed to making our school a place where all feel safe, welcomed, and cared for — a community where we truly “Learn to Love and Love to Learn.”
To mark this special week, our school community gathered in faith to celebrate a special Mass, giving thanks for the important contribution we make to the mission of the Church within our local area. Afterwards, we enjoyed a wonderful coffee morning in school, bringing everyone together in friendship and celebration.
