Comhghairdeas to our Gaelic squad who took the Cabragh Cup home to the Moy this afternoon. This is a 7 aside event which opens it up to small, medium and large schools. It is a very popular event on the GAA calendar and is always a very well attended event.
In the group stages, the boys secured victories over Donaghmore, Aughnacloy, Roan, Aughadarragh and Glencull.
After the lunch break, the Moy boys faced a well drilled Derrylatinee team, thanks to a strong tail wind in the 2nd half, St. John's scored heavily and booked themselves a place in the final against Roan.
In Breezy conditions, Roan and Moy played some wonderful football and indeed the game could have gone either way.
However a wily Moy team eked out a two point lead, which they retained until the final hooter!
Well done to the whole squad!
