At St. John's we have an established link with our local primary school, Moy Regional.

Together we are involved in the Shared Education Mainstreaming Pilot which involves the teachers and pupils coming together for shared lessons, activities and trips.

For this school year (2025-2026), the shared lessons will involve the P3, P5 and P7 classes from our school. These lessons will focus on Personal Development and Mutual Understanding, ICT and PE! 

This is what we have been involved in so far this year:

• P5 PeacePlayers Basketball programme - Torrent Complex, Donaghmore - September/October 2025 
• P3 Meet + Greet - St. John's Primary School - Wednesday 8th October 2025 
• P3 & P7 Healthy Kidz PE session - Moy Presbyterian Hall - Friday 12th December 2025

• P7 6 week Speedwell Trust Mid Ulster Programme - Parkanaur Forest - January/February 2026
• P5 Egyptians Trip - Navan Fort - Wednesday 4th February 2026
• P3 2D Game Marking Workshop - AmmA Centre, Armagh - Wednesday 4th March 2026
• KS2 Football Tournament - St. John's P.S. - June 2026
